I know the feeling well. Happened to me at Snett on the formation lap (v embarrassing) when a person who will remain nameless didn't do the bonnet pins up! Will it admit it puts a different perspective on stopping the car when you cant see but cant jsut stop with the cars behind you

So I bit the bullet and ordered some Khumo Ecsta V70As today.

Will be interesting to see how these perform against the 888s (although maybe would have been better back to back rather than a whole winter break).

From what I've read they have a much stiffer sidewall and although take longer to come up to temp they can handle the heat better than the 888 and will also wear better. None of this however comes from a powerful GTR so it may not work out. But I thought it was worth a punt. I'll need a new set soon at the rate the car eats them so not like i'll have to put up with it for long if they're shit :frown:

Thanks for the price on the Federals Eddy I just needed them a bit too quick. Am keen to give them a go too.

I would love those wheels on my Rex.

<style type="text/css"> p, li { white-space: pre-wrap; } </style> Regarding Khumo Ecsta V70A's, I know Pantera Chris runs them on his RX7 and he swears by them :)

:drool5::drool5::drool5::drool5::drool5::drool5:

Stu it's not very nice picking on a man's weakness! However, as I wouldn't put an 8.5 inch rim on anything bigger than my mountain bike I feel able to rise above this... :D

Pez, yeah hopefully, gonna book something up and see what breaks early this year in the vain hope it gives me time to fix it....:confused:

Dom, thats good to hear on the khumo's had no joy getting anything from anyone on gtroc but there's a guy running an ultima who's pleased with them. Picking them up from garage tomorrow which is exciting (mildly) so think i'll bin the shit michelin slicks and put them on the "works" rimmage

:D The 10" rears are a beauty to behold and should be well suited to a decent R32 ;)
