Yeah the cooler is pretty new. I'll give it a shake anyway just in case

Well it runs!

Ran it up to temp and checked for leaks. Seemed to be ok apart from a few drips of water which I think is the overflow tank.

Couple of issues though. Sounds like the downpipe is blowing. I used new gaskets but maybe the bolts need to be re tightened. Also sheared a 10mm bolt on the throttle body elbow.

To be honest though I'm just glad it runs at all! Those issues should be sortable before mapping.

Well done mate, one heck of a job and you should be proud of yourself for taking it on. Apart from taking the engine out I dont think there is a harder job!

Blow should be sortable, I think you might have to keep it off boost as well if the blow is bad.

I might have a spare bolt you can use for the shared one you have.

Well done Chris. That's a massive achievement ! Taking them off was the biggest pain in the neck, let alone putting them back in again !!

Nice work mate :)

Thanks dude!

Putting them back on was a real chore. One of the oil lines just wouldn't line up and that took me two hours alone!

Feels like I've leveled up, but I don't think I'd want to do it all again in a hurry!

A single is so much easier........

Good work though mate.....it gives me worries just looking at the twin set up let alone doing anything on it.

Easier isn't always better ;)

I love the response of the twin setup, and with a second turbo that actually has blades (!) and isn't leaking oil, it's going to be monstrous!

As much as I think you're a massive mincer for not going single turbo ;) I am very interested to see what your car is capable now you have a full set of turbos rather than the 80% you had before. Its gonna be a good day on the 7th!

Indeed we shall see! I was pulling on my mates s15 (much to his horror) dynoed at 360fwhp with those old falling apart turbos. Also Johns single on the way to the pod ;)

This is going to be interesting!
