Fresh from my first proper run, I have to say that I am chuffed :)
There are bags of issues.......the heater still only blows cold, the rev counter had a few 'moments' when pressing on, one of the spot lamps has blown and the boot latch still don't shut right.

All that and I'm still grinning like a loon :D

The alignment of the locks isn't right, which either leads to a significant rattle or the boot flying open :) I will trawl the ads for replacements, as the usual job of loosening things off and tweaking hasn't worked. Not a lot of grip on the roads, is there :D

The tailgate on Herbie use to rattle like feck, due to the latch being worn. We simply wrapped insulation tape around the catch to pad it out and that solved the problem.
Not sure if it would work for you but thought i'd mention it.

I'll have a go. I slammed it that hard the other night, I think I have dented the boot :D

I'll be picking the head unit and speakers up off of Tony next week, so with those fitted, I won't be so worried about rattles :)
