Been a while, but we have some progress

Used the time over Christmas with loads of help from Matt to change over the engine, gearbox and diff. Everything is "factory tight", as in so fucking tight I'd never have undone some of the bolts.

A few jobs left to sort, need to finish the downpipe, bit of ic plumbing on the hot side and show horn in some new injectors

Eagle eyes might notice the shiny spacer plate between the plenum and the inlet manifold.

That's to give a bit of room for this

Still doesn't fit quite thanks to the idle control valve, but we have a plan. Should have loads of bits turn up this week as I'm still off work

Hope you've heat-proofed the wiring along the chassis rail on the exhaust manifold side... it gets a little toasty down there.

Certainly have mate, on my first trackday I melted the ignitor on the S14

There's a bit less wiring down there on the S15, but it's all heat wrapped along with all the lines.

I've got a real of wrap for the downpipe, but I am tempted to get the Tial housing and downpipe ceramic coated, need to get a cost I think

Bit more done, just a waiting game for bits I find I need as I go along

Anyway, front pipe "was" finished

Even after testing the Lambda threads off the car it then decided to do this when I had the pipe fitted to the car

That's been cut off and a new socket's on the way.

Butchered the bottom of the Greddy plenum and moved the port for the idle control valve.

and got the fuel rail bolted on

Unfortunately the rail still touches the plenum so I need to get a new plate cut. No big deal, just means I need to draw up the plate I bought and get one cut

I've bought back the Sard fpr that I had on the red S15 as it makes the fuel lines easier to sort. Hot side of the intercooler is all done, Gary and Danny will be wrapping the front pipe as I failed on my attempt

Definitely, as in everything I've touched

Just checked the calc for the injectors, based on 480cc standard the correction should be about 48% not 37% so that might help if I up that
