Driving a fast Jap import is like coming out of the closet, you might surprise some people, but in the end you are still gay.

How do the door openers work? Are they hooked up via the normal rod that 'pulls' the latch mechanism?

Incredible. Should be an absolutely solid car, for sure. The detail is fantastic too... you don't usually find cars with show to match that much go. Love it! 8)
What are you shooting for, e/t and trap wise? Gotta be aiming for at least mid 8's at over 150 I'd guess.

Ported, Polished, Cammed, and dropped Yank Tank.
The door openers work off the original cable, just had to add an extension cable to suit where the door openers had to be positionedstuart wrote:How do the door openers work? Are they hooked up via the normal rod that 'pulls' the latch mechanism?

Mathematically it should be mid 8's but I will be happy if I can get to mid 9's - to be honest I am just looking forward for it to go at the moment whatever the speedSlickShoes wrote:Incredible. On the full 4-500 hit you're planning on running, I think you'll have zero trouble getting into the mid nines - considering that 4 link, 9", and Sportsmans. I have faith that you'll go 9.50 or better on your very first pass on a full shot. Although, I didn't see a wheelie bar....
While I'd love to see it stand on the back bumper, I wouldnt want that lovely paint scuffed up! And you know it'll do it with as much torque-in-a-bottle as you've got. :-D

I have the wheelie bars but haven't got round to fitting them yet, will be a job for later on in the year once I have set up the trailer for taking the car with the bars fitted
