Henry......
Might be unconnected, but I've done about 150 miles so far since the map, and today has started hesitating when warm and idling in traffic. It feels like its going to stall, and if I keep the revs up manually, if flutters a bit and then clears.
I'm getting no dash lights, and when reading it, shows no fault codes.
The car has long coughed and farted when first starting up from cold due to what I believed to be the SAI issues.
I'm a bit confused, as I thought coil packs normally through a dash light up?
Will look tomorrow for air leaks, loose connections etc.....I know there are a myriad of sensors that could affect timings, mixtures etc, but there are no apparent faults logged on the ECU. (Maybe the fuel in Essex is shite!) If the checks show nothing, I'll ping a message to the mapper and see if he can add anything to look at. (If the map has done this, the wife will kill me!!)

Remap's usually make the coil packs shit themselves quicker then normal rob, mine went in quick succession on the s3 after it was mapped, mine completely went so the car was undrivable, if it is coil packs on yours it doesn't sound as severe
Have they ever been replaced as there was a recall on all of them due to hi failure rates, once replaced once(with oem replacements) they don't fail again
Ps they generally don't throw up any warning lights

If you get it connected to a scanner whilst the car is miss behaving you'll be able to identify which pack has seen better days...if it is a problem with the coils that is
My brother has a LCR and his failed the other day( his car is stock and unmapped) which resulted in similar problems to yours
They can go whenever but remaps definitely, definitely kill them, one of mine went on the rollers while mapping the others in the months that followed, I kept a spare in the glove box so when the next one went I wasn't stranded lol and replaced the spare until I completed the set
If they aren't on a recall get someone with trade discount at TPS to get them for you, the replacements look slightly different to the old ones so you'll know the difference when you start replacing
