I think I have a Mazdaspeed roll bar on the way. It obviously won't have the safety of a proper cage but it's better than nothing short term and should be easy enough to sell on afterwards if needs be.

Yup, already on it Rob ;)
I like the first arches but the rest of it is all a bit tame. I think the wing/ducktail I want it called KG works.......still getting used to all of the names to be honest. There is also the option of getting an entire one piece boot lid with integrated ducktail too but that's over

It will 100% be another car on that long list Russ, you're right

and your point was what exactly? :D

I have learned long ago, that there is a danger in focusing on the wrong things in life (no, not porn) and it's all well and good lusting after high end 911's, but if your budget is more like low end salvage cars, you have to cut your cloth accordingly.

I have fancied one of these for years (remember the suggestion of cheap track cars back in 08, with Gerry suggesting MX5's and everyone else (well, me) buying a mk2 Golf?) This is more of the same but slower and more sideways.

If this makes me grin for one summer and gets sold on, used as a club drift toy for Marham and Norfolk Arena or tuned up and taken more seriously, happy days. I am not that fussed which outcome we/I arrive at.

It's nice to have a car to tinker with and there is so much value for money in these things, I don't think I could have chosen a better home for my small initial outlay. Anyway.........the first sign of sunshine and you'll be kicking yourself that you don't have a rorty, 800kg sports car that you can go and kick the shit out of :D It may lack in power but it doesn't lack in the ability to put big grins on your face.

Get your arse along to Snetterton on the last weekend of April; the Ma5da race series is there so you can see what 30+ of them flying around looks like.
