A quick update of whats been happening in the nightmare world of Subaru ownership...

Bonnet mounted parachute ditched in favour of...

All was going well until I had some running issues (the day before Marham!) Finally traced the problem to a small split in the turbo inlet hose. This is what the small split looked like when the hose was removed!!!...

Hose replaced with a nice but bloody expensive Samco item...

And yesterday received and fitted a Phormula KS-3 knock analyser...

Today had the KS-3 set up and the car mapped to absolute perfection by Duncan .
Bring on more track time :auto: :sifone:

After all the heartache and wallet ache I've had lately , I'm confident I've got a reasonably powerful and reliable car now, So I took a trip up to see Clive Atthowe in Norwich to get some dyno figures...

Certainly not the biggest power car out there, But as long as I get the pleasure of a few trackdays without something exploding then I'll be one happy bunny :auto:
No more modifications required now :)

Or do I need a bigger turbo? And maybe some bigger injectors?

When will it end

Should be more than enough to have fun, and as none of us are chasing lap times (much!!) fun should be all that counts.

See you on the 10th

Looks pretty good Jon and I'd agree with the quality of DW's service. I've used them a few times and they have always been superb.

Oooooooohhhhh, just thought. Have you got any more camo vinyl? If you had some for those spoiler end plates, that might look really nice

See you Tuesday Bud. Judging by your driving at the last event, sub 20's should be well on the cards

Tbh, I'll probably wrap the whole thing in camo vinyl. That much carbon just looks over the top imo, Although saying that, The Corsa, Saxo and the rest of the chav brigade seem to love it, Hence the need to tone it down a bit!
PS
I pulled out of the 10th track evening a while ago mate, But will be doing a full day at Snett this Monday (can't afford to do both). I may pop over on Tuesday to marvel at the VAG fest though and hopefully grab a few pax laps :coolgleamA:

Popped over to Dunc's today to have a generously donated splitter fitted
I still need to add some end plates to it, But i'm more than sure it will pay dividends on track with the added downforce :auto:
Next up, A rear diffuser, Flat floor and side exit exhaust :D
