quick update

Post by Rob_B »

just thought i'd update my project thread - i can done a few little jobs since i last posted on here...nothing major

1 - 25mm hubcentric spacers fitted, think the wide arches deserved these

2 - brushed aluminium wing mirrors, most s3 had this from factory but you can chose to have body coloured wing mirrors, i prefer the look of the brushed aluminium so myself and ben have sprayed mine

3 - blacked grill surround, originally chrome which i thought looked rather dated so we decided to paint it black, i think it really works and make the car look alot more aggressive

next mod is a stainless downpipe and decat which should increase the power by 25bhp - only problem is im waiting for the company our make then finish there revised edition which is taking forever(im very impatient:willy_nilly:)

anyway i have taken a few pics so you can see the changes

Looking good Rob. It's amazing how much difference little details like painting the grill has made.

i thought about painting the badge, i looked at a few others that have done it and thought it would look better this way - just personal preference to be honest

A cracking car made a little bit nicer :) I like the mirrors in silver but I also like a full black grille, like Trev days.

The spacers make loads of difference; no sense in having big old flared arches and then space savers tucked underneath!

This is looking quite taisty Rob!
I like all the mods done, but realy like the grille keeping the rings silver (looks like it could have been picked from an OE options list.)
