Bealo's CSL.
Well since my last post on my project thread all i have really done is use the car with a track day at donington and the great day at Snetterton on the 6th Dec where Big Stu has told me that we were both lapping in the 1.22 sec bracket which i'm happy with.
Whats instore for the CSL for this upcoming season of trackdays and hopefully sprints????
Defo a set of Cups and i plan on getting my suspension professionally setup, i will be keeping an eye on how Stu gets on with his and might use who he plans on using.
I will be paying Gary at APT a visit to see what he recommends to do next and get his to give the car a good once over checking wheel bearings, brakes etc before i get on track.
I would love to do the cams and exhaust manifold but i will have to see how the pennies go as they aren't a cheap mod and will only give me about another 20 bhp for about a 4-5K outlay!!!!!!!
Should have some video's to post up as soon as Big Stu has finished editing them, cheers mate.

Yes i reckon id be better learning to drive better, it will be more fun plus less expensive.
Thats one thing that i won't be doing is ripping the car to bits, i love the fact that it's an everyday car and a decent track tool all in one.
I think the cups will help me quite a bit and learnig and understanding what the suspension is doing and why it is doing it.
onward and upwards lol

If you want to go halves on a day Stu, let me know
I found the brief experience of Maxx' instruction very useful, if slightly scary
I know I can get quicker and I know that spending money on my personal development is the best possible value for money way of doing it.
Another great thing about sharing an instructor is that it gives you a chance to put into practice the things you've 'learnt' on your own whilst the other guy is getting shouted at
