Where do you get your car set up and dyno'd out of curiosity
I am very lucky in that Westons are just round the corner from me, so I get all set up work, both suspension and engine done there.

Still got to meet up, I wil be at time Attack Brands Hatch, as the TSS have a stand and exclusive track time booked, so fingers crossed I will be able to play on track and watch / cheer on you guys too.

Right fairly biggish update on the car, certainly the drive of it is much changed.

I have now got rid of the standard Ecu and gone to a Haltech E6X unit.

As there was no harness for a straight swap, this did mean a lot of extra wiring by Westons who supplied and Fitted it.

I have got rid of that crappy old AFM and gone for a 3.0 bar MAP sensor.

I have gained Nealy 20 bhp for the same boost level, but there is so much more to be unlocked, however high intake temps are holding me back. :?

I will soon be fitting a much longer Intercooler and re routing my pipe work so I go over the cool side of the engine, hopefully into a side feed 162 manifold. This should then allow me to up the boost a touch and get closer to 300bhp. However in the real world, and not just dyno figures, the car is so much quicker, as before a low speeds I had an awful flat spot due to over fueling, which is now a distant memory.

Few pics of the engine bay, excuse the mess, it needs a damn good sort out and clean, but its too much fun driving it.

The car has also benefited from bucket seats to allow me to remain in place when throwing it around the Track

Shake down for the next TSS sprint was for me a short on track session at Brands last Sunday, where the car was really good.

I have a stiffer front Anti roll bar to fit to help cure the roll in the front springs, and a few extra bits such as a brake stopper and upgraded engine mounts to try and make all the difference.

Few pics from Brands

This Sunday is the Next Sprint, so fingers crossed both me and the car can gel and pull of a good result!! :D

Well done mate nice to see the BigPower sticker on there. So gutted we missed you at Brands not sure if you've heard but our engine decided to die just after we left Ford Fair a couple of weeks back.
Nice figures and your car looks to be coming on well

We will get together soon but as you can imagine things are a bit hectic at the moment trying to build a new engine. Fancy popping round sometime i'm about 15 miles from you.

Hi Mate, I did try looking for you at Brands, but they were being a bit daft about pit lane access.

I did not know your engine had gone.. so gutted for you.. :( :(

Def up for popping over one time, just let us know some dates. If you need any help with stuff for the sierra let me know, not that I am anything special wiv a spanner but the offer is there!!

Yeah I thought I would stick the sticker on in a nice discreet place

Catch you after this weekend's sprint.

Nice to see a 165 still around.

Had one myself a while back, and was my first Jap car, loved it to bits.

Nice clean quick example you have there. 8)
