Bloody hell mike! That is extreme to say the least:coolgleamA:. And puts the winter tinkerings of the rest of us to shame.:blush5: I hope you find the final result worthy of all the effort?

I`m glad to see you left the steering columb in place as not to get to carried away with welding up all the bulkhead!:sifone: It looks a whole lot neater now though. Nice job mike!

Looking good a clean engine bay takes a car to the next level, this is going to be close to Mad Dog Jnrs car i blasted round the ring in a couple of years ago.

Have finally finished the floor pan now which has taken a life time i think on the floor pan and bulk head i rekon ive spent about 100 hours.

Has been hard work but hopefully when the red goes on it will be worth it.

The wife (diane) bought me a spray gun as well as other tools for chrimbo so was desperate to try it out today so went to brown brothers and picked up litre of etch primer and a litre of adative so mixed away and then set about spraying.

finished floor pan at last

also removed the rear valance with what i can only call the devils spanner (plasma cutter) once one of these is in your hand you just start cutting everything off.

As the floor is now flat it would act as a paruchute

As well as mine iam also helping out working on another in between work as this is the company owners car.

here are a few pics so far

This one was fully sandblasted underneath, interior and engine bay which to be honest was so messy and sand is still coming out of it every time it spins over.

The golf is having a full respray in white fibre glass bonnet, tailgate and doors

Jabba sport is doing the engine which is a supercharged 1.9 big valve head knife edge crank fully balanced ,H section rods plus all the rest pistons, cam, gearbox is having a palequin diff (quaife ATB)

So should be fun once there both finished fingers crossed

sorry for bad quality photo's again battery flat on camera so had to use iphone
