@ Bart, to lower the transmission and road noise- it's daft when I can't be heard on a mobile call at 60mph, I spend 1/2 my time at work in the car, and the noise can get tiring too.
@ Rob,
I'd be interested in enough to do the floors, boot floor, rear wheel arches and firewall ideally. If he uses it regularly he should be able to give me a rough idea. Also, I'd prefer it if the stuff was self adhesive, I get in enough of a state with my son's Pritstick come card making time :)
Thanks guys

I'd love them, wife would nt. (Also won't help the people to "hear me now" on the phone.
Maybe a noise cancelling throat microphone, modern warfare stylee, I'd look a right cock! (Ok, even more of a right cock)

Thanks to Loudboy and Rob Callow I've managed to get a real good price on 3 square metres of sound deadening. As 2 sq m of it is 4mm, it should make a fair difference, and the 20kg I'm adding is nt going bother me too much. (It's not exactly race spec anyway is it? ;) )
I'm fighting temptation on some wheels at the minute, should get the cam and stereo sorted first. Decisions decisions......

Good luck with the ol` sierra mate! I think you would have regretted selling it?;)

Thanks Russ, you might be right, but seeing as Sierra buyers are rare ( or is it daft) creatures, I won't to find out any time soon.
I'll get some minor bits done to make it more of a day to day prospect, and see what happens from there. Besides, where would this place be without an archaic, 100 hp relic? ;)
It'll never get off Gary's rollers with more weight in it!!

All credit to Darren (Loudboy), the stuff arrived today (yes, already!) and I'm well pleased. I'll get it done when it's next warm and I'm not at work, should be an interesting little project. Thanks Darren!
