Glad your impressed with the suspension G. It transformed my 32 (and now Ben's too)

If you are serious about buying the diffuser from Alex, I think that and the summer Scoot bonnet will finish the car of just nicely.

Great work you lucky bugger!! :thumb:

Right after a really long time its time for a small update....

After chatting to Chris last week about how good my exhaust was it decided to stick two fingers up at me and do this....
Image

But a quick bit of searching on the internet came up with this...no idea what the Nurburgring reference is as I'm sure it would struggle to meet the noise requirements there.
Image

and after a bit of cursing, swearing, fibreglass in my hands (and that was just getting the diffuser off) I managed to get it fitted, there certainly wasnt a ration on the exhaust paste :)
Image

It isnt too loud as its the Blitz Nurspec S rather than the ultra loud Nurspec R. I must say taking it for a spin yesterday and going through Reepham with the buildings making the exhaust echo it sounded fkin brilliant !!!

Gave it a wash and a polish and I'm starting to see that the paint applied 19 years ago is really not standing up to the test of time.

So the plans for this year are:
Get the coolant leak fixed, still cant see where its coming from.
Fit the harnesses I got off Ben, just need a harness bar now.
Have Jaydee map it.
Fix the clunking in the front suspension.
See how much it would cost for a respray.

I wish we had Touge style events as blatting it round the backroads of Reepham, Felthorpe, Aylsham it handled brilliantly.

Woohoo :)
Great to see an update and the new exhaust looks nice. I didn't know that they did a spec S only the R. I wouldn't get too stressed about the paint Gareth; the map and suspension will change the car; the paint may be the icing on the cake, but that's all.

First update in two years!!!!!!!!!!! Shocking mate, just shocking.

I must say that blitz stuff is well worth the money. Just look at the quality of that tig welding, Its almost a work of art.

Ha ha ha you guys :)
Yep you are right Stu but its not the same when polishing seeing bits of paint chipped off, the paint laquer coming off and plenty of parking dents. I'm surprised you havent offered your rattle can services ;) Matt black could look ok....

Yep I know that the first update in 2 years is poor, will pull my finger out now as there is a new found enthusiasm for the car......despite its best mate going off to other parts :(

Russ, yep agree it was either going to be an HKS or a Blitz exhaust, the HKS was a bit too expensive. Would have loved the Titanium exhaust, that was a work of art......the
