Russ, yours didn't seem to understeer that badly mate, not on our little jaunt. May I politely suggest that you think about how much work you are asking of the road tyres and consider how well they do. It's a shame PhatBob doesn't post on here any more.....he knows first hand about Imprezas vs Andy Walsh and understeer.
The mid-setting on the ARB will probably be fine.....how much camber are you using on the fronts? (Assuming you have top mounts)

I fitted these many moons ago and haven't looked back since. Zero toe all round and -3 neg on the front does the trick for me for negating understeer.

I thought i should do something to update this thread although bugger all has been done with my toys lately as we have recently lost a close family member to the dreaded big "C":( This is why i have been very quite on the site, And will probably continue to drift in and out until the mess left by our recently deceased is cleared up.
Firstly the golf has been a total giggle (although its not been out since the snow arrived) It is "chuggy" as hell when cold and the alternator realy does need changing as the bearing in it are so noisy. The only thing thats been done since i last posted on its thread is the addition of some stock fit mac audio speaker to the rear.
The poor scoob has been off the road since the end of november. I did put a batterie on it the other day and couldn`t belive it took barley half a turn before it struck up. I had forgotten how much i love its noise and i knew nothing too much could be wrong with it as she still bangs and spits flames on the over run:D.
Image
The Audi has been a bloody marvel! Ive put another 12,000 miles on it since september with all the running to london recently and its not missed a beat! on the motorway is where this car is just sublime.:hurray:
Now this is my latest project;) I know its realy not in keeping with the normal bigpower type of car, So i wont list in its own project thread. I have taken it on to try and get it ready for my baby sister who is getting married later in the year and she would like it as her wedding car in memory of our recently passed uncle.
Its a 1960 merc 190.
Image
It is remakably solid with no rot at all and was last on the road in`94! All the brightwork was taken off in preperation for respraying. I did get it running with a new batterie fitted and bit of petrol down the carb and hey presto!
Image
The interior is in just brilliant condition for a 52 year old car and i hope will require nothing more than a clean?
Image
The only thing with this i cant find at the moment is the brake master cylinder and one bit of crome for the front wing. But im sure they will turn up over the next couple of weeks.;)

Wow mate, sorry to hear about the Big 'C'. A hideous disease/illness that I am beginning to hate with a passion. Glad to see your drive is full of toys though.

Really interested to hear about the Merc though, I wouldn't worry about it not being a traditional BP car. Sometimes its nice to hear about other projects, look at Bens silver Golf and Dans Pajero. Makes for an interesting read.
Amazed at the condition of the bodywork though, has it been kept indoors as there doesn't seem to be as much dreaded tinworm as I was expecting !!

Nice 190. Still prefer Ol' Yella :D

12k on the Audi is impressive, especially since you've had it about five minutes.

Thanks mate! I know youv`e had more than your fair share of dealing with loosing family to the plague of cancer:frown:. And thank you for the comments on the mercedes. This one had been kept outside with just a tarp over it and realy is quite remarkable. There is a 219 model as well, But that hasn`t survived so well. Also there was a 220 cab that had been dry stored since 1979! That is far too rare and specialist for me to tackle.
