Nice cagework and nice paint too Mike. Your photos don't do the work any justice at all. Have you tied the A-pillar in to the cage too?

well now the winters here its time to strip the golf and get it to how i won,t it.

Its been tryed and tested this year and has been faultless over all the trackdays and the MLR round at snett.

so started yesterday with a whole car Image
And then after about 4 hours was to this.

so all removed from under here ready for next weekend to remove both sub frames and the poly windows it will then be down to a bare shell ready for work to begin which consists of.

removing all underseal from arches and floor pan
removing the scuttle tray and weld up all the little holes and repaint in the engine bay
sorting the body out for respray
new brake lines alround rear to go to internal bias valve so i can get rid of the rear compensater valve
eccentric suspention top mounts
mk4 golf rear calipers to fit
remove spare wheel well
fit alloy foam filled feul tank
undecided on exhaust exit maybe side or just straight out the back
diff to be fitted into gearbox
few rollcage tweeks
undecided weather to arch the shell or leave it alone
So going to be busy over the winter

All the best with your winter projects mike
