I'm struggling to find any company that will refurb my wheels keeping the polished lip - had a number of fruitless conversations yesterday.

Now seen this pic of a repainted set of Volks ... may go for this colour

Or is it the rim that make mine different?.

What do you reckon ?

Finally an update.

I was very lucky to be in the right place at the right time and secured a set of Tein monoflex coilovers (thanks stu).

Today I visited our friends at APT and Gary had them on and adjusted in an hour !!! ..

So before

after :)

Sorry for camera phone pics - forgot my one.

Off to autotest @ 13:00 - but even in the short journey from APT to mine the car feels far more poised and the ride is actually better !! ...

Next job - wheels.

Looks good mate, am sure it will transform the ride you've been used to.

An hour by Gary !!! Jeez it took me over an hour to put 1 coilover on !!!!

This car is stunning mate - fantastic finnish on the body what wax are you using ?

I have got the same suspension ( not fitted yet ) - need to get them fitted as my car looks like a 'Skyscrapper' sitting on 18's

Ken these teins are fantastic - I was expecting the car to be harsh - I have to say absolute opposite - they are so poised, the ride now is amazing, the car is so much more stable, it's given me new found confidence in it's ride.

Anyway a further update. These pics are from my phone so were not really that good hence the strange effect i've added to make them funky.

Ken as to wax - I simply use loads of turtle wax - the coloured stuff - in my case I use the 'burgundy' wax .. which has slowly made my car 'redder'

So some pics then a bit more about the last twelve months with my 32.

So, what has happened,

I've amassed a number of really choice parts and my dear friends at APT have fitted for me.

So, I what's gone on.

R34 Brembo's front
R33 Brembo's rear (Perfectly refurbished by Chris at H-tech styling)

Fitting Brembo's has to be the best cheap upgrade .. it can now stop !! .. unlike the old brakes which remind you of pulling a tanker up ...

N1 Turbos
Tein Monoflex Coilover Suspension
Skylab torque split controller
Profec B boost controller
Removable Momo Champion steering wheel

So now running give or take 1bar ... the car feels so much better, I have a kind of love it / bored by it affair with this car as I only get to drive it once / twice a month at most, when I see it sitting there under it's cover I lose interest, but the minute I drive it, all those reasons for owning it come back .. I love driving this car!.

So what's next, well my partner of 6 years left me in march so money has been a little bit tight, but i'm getting back to where I was, so next plans are.

New tyres
Wheel refurb in dark gun metal (I have new volk stickers, rays nuts and rays valves)
Powerfc L-jetro
Bigger injectors
Bigger fuel pump
Mapping by APT
Rear roll cage
Sparco Buckets

I'm sure I will find other fine bits I need ... so that's the next 12 months planned.
