What a pain in the arse. So, was the OMEX ever working properly or has it started to stop working? (If so what's changed?) When is your next outing with the car?

The omex is working just not really contolling anything. If you get what I mean. Our next outing is this sunday at Ford Fair and then we were planning on time attack, but only 15psi to play with theres no real point in that.

As best as i understand it. Alan understands it better than me but here goes.

3.62 diffs meant engine revved up slower allowing boost to climb
Boost leaks were acting like a bleed value, again allowing the boost to climb. To an artificial 26psi.

3.92 diffs engine revs up quicker not giving boost chance to climb
Boost leaks all fixed so no artificial bleed value allowing boost to climb.

Same wastegate and spring we ran on Herbie (red car) and that only made 15psi.

Beyond that I left Alan to speak with Richard (mapper)whilst I was talking to Brian (Owner of RGS).

You have no idea just how p***** *** we are. A brand new Omex thats basically doing f*** all. From what i got from the conversation this afternoon we're basically running the same setup as we were with the first car.

From what i understand the only thing that has stopped us blowing the engine up is a plastic restrictor in a boost pipe as when they removed it (Doing their checks and tests), it over boosted like a bitch.

:iagree: I know Gary & I have been mates since I had hair (yeah, that long :D ) so I am biased but I have to agree with him. How you guys put up with the shit you've been dealt (and paid for) for years and years is beyond me. Motorsport is frustrating enough when your car's running well and you're competing but you guys, without taking the piss, don't even compete anymore. I know it's easy for guys like me to make harsh comments from behind a keyboard and I only hope that my relationship with you and Al is good enough that you also know I'd say this to you face to face. I'm not trying to upset you, Al or Wayne in anyway, but reading your horror stories time after time is killing me. It's not like you don't get support from the forum and it's users so people do care about Team TNT and seeing you all get slow jerked like this is painful mate............like seeing someone you care about repeatedly hurting themselves even after they acknowledge that they know what they're doing is dangerous or damaging...........and then they do it again!! :D

I don't expect you to air you tuner woes in public (I don't actually think it's good practice to do so) but at some point Team TNT have to decide whether you're getting what you're paying for. Time to take a dump or get off the potty :cheers2:

Here are their findings. No involvement from us, No imput from us, this is what they have found.

Would we like to take the car to APT. hell yes. We just dont think this is going to be a quick or easy fix. More a case of rip it all out and start again.

We don't know.

Now imagine if we had taken the car to you, Gary, for what we thought was going to be a bit of mapping and you came across that lot. We would have felt like a right pair of idiots as if we were taking the piss.
