Yeah mate, thats right. The whizzy transformer thing is the ballast unit.

looks great mate, had a nice browse through this thread just now. I own an RX7 too, wonderful cars. Im on MRC, Bobfish is me - whats your nick? And are you bringing it to the nurburgring at the end of april with us? :)

Hi mate, nice to see you on here. Yeah I am on MRC and my id is 'gmogle'. Hope to catch up at another meet.

Nah after driving Stuarts R32 last year and seeing the pain people had to put up with trying to get parts for a new Scoob last year at the Ring I would be more inclined to take an MX5 or an old BMW or Golf there rather than the Rex.

Besides after having a recent scare with the car possibly needing an engine rebuild I changed the plugs and now the idle is hunting when warm for about 10 secs then settling down. So gotta fix that first before doing anything, however a new house is absorbing all my time at the mo !!!

Its probably an intake leak or something simple mate.

Bring the rex! you wont regret it. Or at least come over in april and ill take you for a nice 8 minute lap in mine :)

Update.....havent updated this in a very very long time. With buying our house all funds had to go into that and the car hasnt been used much.

But I have some updates on it.

My car has had a knocking noise in it since I bought it which we have attributed to the steering rack, managed to get a 2ndhand one in mint condition for the grand total of
