TK - the wgdc is not set right for the exhaust system on your car. there is less back pressure in it and this means it hits boost target quickly. In fact it overshoots it, then realises that it has gone past and shuts it down slightly.
Mapping will cure this completely.
If it was actuator it would either not hit target or go beyond and stay beyond until turbo ran out of puff.

i'v got an old hks evc boost controller in the garage that should work for now, as i just dont have the spare cash for a new ecu and map at the moment, im thinking about taking the car off the road and sorning it as the tax runs out end of the month until i can get an ecu (i barely use it anyway) last thing i want to do is damage the new engine
we shall see
we shall see

went to the car today after not going near it for a while due to it pissing me off ,i even thought the new engine was knocking last time i was near it,,
anyway i think my problem has been solved, started it up and sounded okish , let it run on idle for a few mins while i had a cuppa, went back to it jumped in and power steering felt all notchy , funny noise sort of a knock which changed slightly when putting foot on clutch, under the bonnett sounded a bit clattery, so i thought thats it cars screwed again but then i notticed the main crank pulley looking a bit wobbly so stopped engine and felt it , yep definatly wobbly put my finger on the bolt and it was just about ready to drop out could even do it up with my fingers for several turns, anyway got right size socket and long bar and tightened it up and sounds great again ,power steering feels all good no different noises when putting foot on clutch
question is though how do i fullly tighted the bolt is there a peg you put into one of the pullys, the person who fitted the engine will be getting a call tomorrow for sure
and also had the walbro pump out the tank again as its been bugging me i did not cable tie it and worried it was flapping around (it wasnt)
