Zen tried for hours to find a feed to do this from. If they couldnt do it, what hope have i ?

I assuming you just spliced into the wiring that was done by Zen so its still on the ignition circuit so is no different to wiring into the original pump feed  :?:

Indeed. But you try and find the electric feed for the OE fuel pump. There isnt one from what we could find .... it seems to have a separate control unit towards the rear of the car somewhere which is not documented in the electric diagrams for this model.

Sep switch works fine and dandy :D

I'd have said the same that you could run both pumps off the OE feed that already has a relay inline.

However.....
You would need to beef up the OE fuel pump loom with thicker gauge wire, and splice a feed for each pump off that using the same heavy gauge wire, then you need to have a heavy duty relay in place of the OE relay to run two pumps from one feed so it doesn't burn out as it will draw twice the amps, then you'll have to up the voltage a few volts to cope with the voltage drop from the 2nd pump using a small voltage regulator just to ensure they both get 12-13 volts............and bingo!! :D:D:D

Simple!! 8)
Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!!

Thanks to Jase for the use of the workshop and milling machine and to Yoda for the rough cutting of the triangles :thumb:
Dunc,

I am beginning to get worried about you, first you fit bacon slicers to the front of your car - clearly intended to amputate the feet of anyone you have the mis fortune to hit, now you are machining what look like Ben Huir style wheel attachments. Have to warn Mike to be careful when he overtakes you at Oulton!
