Proper dirty... you should've seen it before the rad blew. It was caked in soft mud ;)

Besides, it's still at the garage... 5 weeks now. They've had it longer than I've owned it!

Daft question, But what are the chances of you getting your money back on the pajero from the garage and just walking away to find something else? Or would you rather stick with it?

The bloke did say that at anytime I could swap it for any other pajero he has whenever I want, or have the cash back. But I'd rather stick with it since it is a good motor. and was a steal for the year and low miles.

Also I've already done a bit of work to it, like the snorkel etc. they're not getting that for free :smash:

Well, today was eventful :) went to pick the truck up as it was given the OK by the garage after having it for 7 weeks in total. Got there and the truck was waiting outside with the work completed and was told that it had a thorough run out to make sure all was well. result :)

Or so we thought.

Started making my way back from Gorleston, got about 20+ miles down the road when suddenly dun dun duuuun. SCREEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEE SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE <- that noise kicked in and was deafening. Did an emergency pull over on the roundabout and went up on the grass and quickly shut down and opened the bonnet. First thing I checked was to make sure the head didn't go again, this was ok. Checked the alternator/viscous fan belts. They too we're nice and tort. Started it up again and the sound was very evident. The problem? yep, the turbo was starved and started dying. After a quick call to dad I made my way back to Gorleston to the garage where the owner had quite promptly 'fucked off' :) So one of the two russian mechanics that was there had a look, listen and came to the same conclusion. So I have the Maverick again whilst they strip it down again tomorrow and change the turbo. :)
