:thumbs:I fucking love that camero!!
It's probably because your V8 makes so much more noise but you seem to get a lot more engine noise picked up on your go pro than I remember on the footage I've got on mine. Will have to watch a couple and compare.
On the rims. I agree the M wheels look good and if you fancy a change are def a top contender, but personally I think the ones you have at the mo are spot on.

Definately looks like a handful, does this run in a specific race series in the UK then?
I assume it would have to have the usual cut offs/extinguishers etc
Sounds and looks brutal though
[img] Q. If you were stranded on a desert island, who would you rather be stranded with....Ray Mears or Bear Grylls?
A. No question....Ray Mears....you could make a shit load more stew out of that tubby little fecker [/img]

One of the best series I know of for old school 'proper' racing, none of the processional stuff that afflicts some others

Cheers mate, kind of reminded me of that Eric Bana documentary from a few years back

I thought it was i bit quieter on the footage than in the car although i was taking steady at that point . The first bits of video i took had lots of background noise with a rubbing exhaust my squeaky seat and a chair that i left in the boot , so that bit had less rattling in it . Have you got any footage of the GTR on view as i wouldn't mind having a look at that just to see what it looks like from the inside , it looks mighty fast from the outside .Monster wrote::thumbs:I fucking love that camero!!

I need better brakes because the stock disc/drum setup can't deal with trackdays so that means i will need bigger rims to fit over them . I like the painted rims as they don't standout so much like polished chrome ones would and thats why i liked the black BMW parallels . I also like the Rota's that you have on the GTR because they look fairly sturdy and would not out of place on an old Camaro , but i sure won't be getting some chromed 22's . Pete

I watched that when it came out and i wonder if he ever got to rebuild it certainly brave for racing it like that ,but then i think cars like that should be used as their wasted otherwise .
I had a quick look at your build thread and would love to see that beast of a car on track sometime . Pete

I haven't put any vid up on youtube for 2 reasons. Firstly I don't know how to and also have no idea how to edit it down to bite size chunks. Secondly, I've not got any that I've found particularly exciting (so it will prob be really boring for anyone else!!)
I do have some though, will have a scroll through it and maybe have a go at posting some up over the xmas break.
Ah, yeah hadn't considered the brake issue, definately makes sense to get some bigger ones then seeing as you track the car a lot. Mine are MXR but if you look on the rota site and see others let me know size, offset etc and i'll get you a price, should be able to get a good deal on a set. Saying that, i agree the BM ones suit the camero and in black would look quite moody on your car, or anthracite maybe.

While looking at BMW wheels i thought i would see if the brakes would also fit because if the wheels are similar stud pattern than it follows that the brakes should fit . I was thinking about some corvette brakes and had picked up some calipers off ebay , but the discs are low offset as most modern disc are . This means that i cannot fit the 15 rims due to the calipers hitting the back of the rims , but luckily i found some BMW discs are deeper and thought it worth trying to fit some . Also the breakers yards and ebay are full of beemer bits which saves an awful lot of money compaired to importing stuff from the states . So i picked up a rear hub from a 1998 5 series which had everything on it including the handbrake cable all for
