Further Mod added:

Joining additional front air duct and pipework to the bottom of the elbow after having sawn the bottom part of the silencer off that unit.

This will bring cool/cold air from the bumper area into the air filter assembly and reduce the charge temp to just above ambient rather than 15C ish above as they are as standard on ther scoob.

Obviously this will help get denser air in there too and should improve performance if mapped to suit.

some small mesh is being sunk into the scoop to deflect small rodents, unguarded children etc :D

Very good - but with the small diced rodents - when will you detect that you've caught them - the bbq smell maybe :)

first impressions upon driving:

sounds
- turbo whine is more noticeable
- dump valve is more noticeable

neither are intrusive

Data logs show that intake temperatures dropped as soon as forward progress was made to ambient or even slightly below if that makes sense.

AFR seems fine but will get it checked by someone that knows what they are looking at before any serious spirited driving is undertaken.

Responsiveness - it may be in my mind but it does feel more willing to pull and therefore seems quicker already.
