It's a work colleague who does a lot of spraying out of work. He's done a brilliant job and the photos dont really do it justice.

Now trying to get all the headwork done. Problem is I need my car for work so cant have it off the road for long.
Theres a few people over Celica Club who have had the stage 2 cams fitted and small % of them are having VVT gear failures where they have not been dismantled/installed correctly.
Think I'll take it To APT for it all to be fitted but cant seem to get through to them on the phone, I'll drop them a PM.

Other then hitting a muntjac the other week and needing a new rad, A/C condensor + front splitter there is not much else to update.

Those TE37s look great Scott.

I've been thinking about a 190 Celica as I want to downsize from my tweaked Impreza. And I have a set of TE37s in the corner of the workshop...

I think the Celica size is 17x7, 5x100, 205/45 and ET38. I wonder if my TE37s would fit, they're 17x7.5 5x100 with 225/45 RE070 Bridgestones, ET45. Maybe need a small spacer and rolled arches. Thoughts anyone?

As long as you allow for bore size Andy, they will go on. You would want about 7-10mm spacer though just to make 100% sure you have no issues with the strut.

I think they are great daily's; comfortable, well built, talkative enough to remain interesting but refined enough to be practical. You could certainly do a lot worse.

Cool, thanks Stuart. Bore is a couple of mm smaller than Impreza so should be ok. I reckon they'd fill the arches nicely.

I guess the obvious alternative is an Integra, but a quick glance suggests they fetch stronger money than the Celica. I also have a mundane requirement - a decent boot space with the rear seat folded, to fit a mountain bike or two

The Toyota 190's are similar money to DC2's but cheaper to run (parts and insurance) and probably easier to sell also. In terms of space, I can only comment on my DC2 and you could get one MB in the back but I never tried two.

Hope that helps.
