It does nt take long does it?

I was out in a friends 2001 S3 Audi today, thinking this is nice hearing the turbo a bit more, the spooling a little more evident on throttle....I wonder.

Has this got any mods at all? I asked innocently, "Only a cone filter", was the reply.
Already got three on the watched list.....I'm doomed :)

I seem to remember you need one that isn't oiled as this can/will damage the MAF (which is new don't forget) They do make quite a difference to the noise. They also make a big difference to fuel economy as you end up driving everywhere on boost :D

The slippery slope has begun  :D

They do make a difference, even on the BM. As Stu says, you drive everywhere at WOT just to hear the noise :D
I may be getting older but I REFUSE to grow up :D

Not wishing to blow the old girl up with a gazillion horse power, I have been looking into silicon hoses, I suppose as a peace of mind style proposition.
OMFG are they expensive or what?
I looked at siliconhoses.com and priced up my hoses as

Compare the prices on somewhere like eBay and just search by the engine code rather than the SEAT; works out much cheaper as the choice on VW's etc is much bigger
