About time Russ. It's always been a favourite of mine and it will be so good to see it and you thumping around a track once more. (Best you get that sump baffled whilst it's sat there ;) )

A combination of the fact that it's probably knackered anyway having stood for two years and Snetterton's dirty fat sustained right hander :D

You'll have to rename your project 'DOOM' ;)

Joking aside, I have always loved the big cadmium yellow wagon. I'm not going to bang on about it, but it needs to be said.

Well done Russ great to see the car eating you as the new cam belt went on talking of which "How many people does it take to change a cam belt?"

But what the hell am I going to do for spares? I even tried robbing the Mazda for wiper blades last week, perhaps your being a bit hasty getting Ol Yella back in rude health

Roll on the 14Th lets give her a beasting Well done mate

Need more details on the car mate. Only had the pleasure of seeing it in action once at one of the bp sprint evenings:D. I actually thought you'd sold it:leaving:

Thats easy (unlike the cambelt timming!)

This weekends update!
As posted above, Finaly got the bloody cambelt timmed up after blasting across to impreza breakers on saturday to get the replacement tensioner plunger.
So new roger clark water pump fitted
new zero sports cooler thermostat fitted
Cambelt fitted
new alloy rad fitted and filled with sinthetic red anti-freeze
Oil and filter changed.

I then spent this morning giving it a bloody good clean. I even got a toothbrush out to get rid of the horrible green slime from round all the creases and seals! This is a poor picture of before ( it was mingin` like the engine bay above!)
Image
I think it looks a little brighter after?:D

I then got to give it a quick run....... It rides like its on concrete suspension, the steering is heavy and its so bloody loud!!........Oh how ive missed it and love it to bits! :D

That looks so much brighter. I remember when Al bought his first GT had to use my garden weed killer to get rid of the moss on his car. Shame the 14th is a weekday.
