I took Friday off to go collect my car from APT then get it over to Autotest for a full alignment, then hopefully home and get it all packed up ready for Sunday leaving me Saturday to chill and do some stuff with my young lady.

As can be expected with cars, things didn't work like that I am now just finished getting ready, although I have been fannying about most of the afternoon giving the car a polish and tidy up!

Anyway, Friday took a slight change as due to APT being mad busy they were running slightly behind so things were re-jigged top collect the car after lunch then pop over to Autotest.

So, I made use of Friday morning to get my new Dunlop DZ03's fitted.

After lunch I made my way up to APT when I arrived, the lads were busy tucking into fish and chips..yum, made me hungry!

Bad news was awaiting, even after changing the springs for softer ones on the car the suspension was still rock solid. After a bit of thought and a brainwave Gary wondered whether the suspension had been set-up wrong and was running on its bump stops, low and behold it was! That will teach me for trusting the bloke who owned them before to know what he was doing and me for not getting the install manual to check them myself, so anyway, A few calls to Tein and Chris had the car up on jacks and started to adjust the suspension, this had to be done front and rear and so with time getting away I managed to get new slot at Autotest for 8am Saturday morning, phew!

So after lots of adjustment the suspension was set-up to Teins recommended dimensions and was deemed lots better on a test run! This was definitely the case when driving home and over some of Norfolk’s finest B-roads to collect Gerry's Nuts from Go-Faster Spares.

Up mega early this morning to get to Autotest for 8am!!! Ouch!

Car now has decent suspension and all set-up!

So this afternoon I washed the car, and cleaned the windows etc and got all my kit sorted and packed in the car.....we are ready to commence 2010!!

Big thanks to the lads at APT for sorting the car and prepping it for me!

So, now I just have to see how I fair against some new opposition and lots of heavily modified Evo's next week at Silverstone if I can get a slot.

Enjoy some shiny pics of the ready for the morning and with it new stuff all fitted apart from the catch tank.

Blue anodise is a bit gay but other than that, that's looking mint :) I bet the seats and harnesses transform the car in terms of a feeling of connection to the chassis...

It will be very interesting to see how you get on against the MLR opposition when you go toe to toe. You love a challenge mate and I'm sure you'll do well whatever the demands.
