Can't wait!
Those harnesses sound ideal mate, PM what you want for them (Or it if there's only one) and whether you want to send them after payment, or would prefer to bring them on the 16th. (I'll have to bring some spanners, it'd be rude to do a track day with harnesses sliding around in the boot )
i'l have a dig out and see what i actually have , i know the 4 point one is all ok i bought this from d/tweeks and had it in the subaru for last years sprints.
i'l have a look tomorrow
Good to see this car being further developed. Regarding the sound proofing, I also used a gas torch but found it a little dangerous at times and pain to keep relighting after each scraping session. I've heard a hairdryer works well enough!
I used a blow torch and a scrapper on my e30 and it acually came off very easy the worst bit was the bit over the tunnel as it is twice as thick as the rest.
All the best if you have any more questions just Pm me again
Well I got the old girl home this evening, so I can tidy it up a little prior to the seats going in.
I tried the hair dryer method for removing the sound proofing (Much to the wifes dismay  ) and it worked really well, I've done 3/4 of the interior, and have a carrier bag of rubbish that I'll be weighing tomorrow when I've done the remainder. (Sad I know)
I'll then have the wonderful job of getting all the adhesive off, but it will look miles better.
I've also taken off the chrome kidney grilles and treated them and then painted them satin black, and also removed a headlamp and fitted a funnel of sorts to divert the nice cold air onto my induction system. Looks a bit "gangster", but it will be interesting to see if it improves anything.
Lastly, in the pursuit of a lighter car and therefore free improved power to weight, I got some bird shit off of it, and what I believe is Squirrel shit (light brown hairs in the poo-very odd), oh the glamour :carwash:
Absolutely pointless contribution but I'll make it anyway:
I removed the sound deadening in the depths of winter. Once it's sub-zero it becomes very brittle and chips of in big lumps. Adhesive residue just wipes off with thinners.

Thanks Gerry, I've got some adhesive remover in the garage, I'll give it some stick once all the cack is out of it. Seems a little odd, but there's no paint under the sound proofing, only primer. Bit of luck I've got a big tin of Alpine white 2
Your lucky, Subaru was primer only in the covered areas. Hammerite white, slapped on with a 4" brush, matches Subaru Feather White quite nicely. Bet it matches BM whites too
