bargain.... low mileage..... :(

at the last BP meet I noticed some water dripping from the engine which got considerably worse.... Looks like standing around did the perishable items any good...

I thought it might be the plastic water pump that is a common problem on the e36's however a local garage says its coming from behind the timing case and looks like a head gasket or the rubber timing gasket thing... Thats a head off job :cry: :cry: He did say the actual compression test on the engine was great and the car was lovely :)

The car will be shipped out to Dad @ http://www.nurburgmotorsport.com for the job and also maybe a head polish etc whilst its off at somewhere like Tauber.... No doubt Manfred will have a play with it whilst he's putting it back together!

At least this way the belts will be changed and the engine can be inspected before it gets used in anger!!! :D

Big list mate, just had a look on your dad's link and really think that the bloke welding in the pic with the header titled fabrication should be wearing some eye protection :o
