I am not surprised no one hung around to be witness - people don't care now days!.

When Jo's car was hit in the middle of norwich - no one offered to be witness - especially not the person who caused it by parking on double yellows with their horse box !!! .... as soon as you look around everyone disappears

I now where you mean there isn't much of a sliproad more of a wide turn in.

Sorry to sound harsh but it sounds have to take part of the blame. By you going for a semi overtake on a junction obscured by turning cars then leaves it open for cars to pull out on you as they can't see you. The same happens from your side of things you couldn't see round the cars until you past them or you could have avoided it in time without binning it.

I understand what you mean James and no its not harsh, I saw the guy at the junction and he appeared to notice me but then pulled out.
O well lesson learnt me thinks.

I'm with James - you were most likely obscured by the two cars in front - the driver should not have pulled out and they should have pulled over - as they have effectively hit and run ..

Always drive defensively, always expect other drivers to be crap - if a car's at a junction always expect them to pull out .. it's the only way to survive.

Interestingly saying all that - when we were rear-ended - I didn't see it coming at all - one second we were stationary - next second being propelled forward.
