Thanks RX7  Right now it is a really easy driven car (bar the bar steward of a clutch locking the diff making turnings out of junctions fun...lol!). In the wet, it's no problem and in the dry its soo much fun without getting you into too much trouble. Still I'm no where near where you guys start off as stock!

Your mum must have had the MK2.5 with the 1.8VVT engine in it. Mines just a bog standard 1.8 with a lil turbo slapped onto it.

I'd still like to own a FD, an S2k and a Silvia (s14a or S15, maybe even an RPS13) one day, just don't have any kinda moolah to splish splash around :(

If it makes you feel any better, I hit a tyre wall on my third session of a drift practice day at Lydd kart track  First attempt at organised drifting and, so far, my last one too.

LoL! I feel for you as I had my lil off while going to get petrol :o so not even on the track...the infamous D1 wannabe drifter who can't drift to save his life and spins it while poodling along to get petrol! Teaches me for leaving my rear drift tyres on when getting petrol...

Sarah said and I quote - "So that's what he was being all secretive about this summer"

The Mx has come on in leaps and bounds since I last saw it up close up Huy - you'll have to take me for a spin sometime soon mate - :-D

Secretive over summer? That was just JAE ;)

The car came with rollbar, HKS bodykit and those 17s (been told they are kosei but still doubtful as I can't find it in their catalogue) from the garage (previous owner must have loved her).

Most work I've done to the car is putting stickers on..lol. The rest was done by MX5MAD/XS-Speed. Real good blokes :) I have as much mechanical skill as a chimpanzee high on crack. I'm one of these guys who fixes one problem and seems to create another five.

That sound just the right amount of power to make the MX5 fun to drive, they should have come out of the factory like that 8)
