First base coat going

I'm thinking of getting the rims re-done in a dark gunmetal or black, any thoughts?
and after a few hours of sanding back the carbon bonnet it is finally coming up quite nicely.
Getting the old vinyl off has been a proper ball ache though, I resorted to using a blow torch on some of the shit stuck on the doors!
I think I'll just lacquer the bonnet rather than paint it as the carbon weave does look pretty good underneath all that fading.

I agree on doing the wheels a gunmetal grey, think it would look cool. I fecking hate taking old graphics off..
