So, more problems with the car have surfaced. The passenger side cv joint decided to let go on the way to work one morning which also damaged the wheel bearing and the rear brakes decided to lock on again which burned away my new pads and cracked the rear discs I,d fitted. Back in the garage for brand new rear calipers, pads and discs and a new driveshaft and wheel bearing. Not ideal near xmas but at least its sorted.

So with some nice weather around I managed to fit my mugen kit. It was easy enough, just had to make some brackets for the sideskirts so they could be bolted to the back of the car and some new brackets for underneath the front bumper. Then after two weeks a nice lorry chucked a stone through my bumper under the drivers side headlight. Luckily I managed to fill the hole and smooth it off, just need to get the paint done. No luck with a bonnet yet and I may even modify my own but I did manage to get a cheap mapped ecu which brings v-tec in at 4800rpm so will see what its like once it arrives.

So I,d had a knocking noise from the pass side front for a while and after having to fit another driveshaft after the second hand one I got fell apart I found both engine torque mounts were totally gone. I managed to fit them both myself on the drive but discovered someone had tried to do the drivers side before and totally bodged it and had left the large bolt for the mount nice and loose! All sorted now and I have now wired up my gauges which work great.
