lwb Quattro sport

Post by Tk »

Its nice to have a build thread all in the same place so here is yet another thread from me

i picked up this audi coupe 2.2 5 pot quattro from north london quite a few months ago and have thoroughly enjoyed driving it around
the car is completely standard in every way (or was) with 2 previous owners and 89,000 miles
just missing the front ash tray a broken rear light and a missing door trim, even has the original tape deck

the day i picker it up

next up came a set of 16" compomotive cxn splitrims from a ford as they are 4x108 fitment to which i fitted a set of avon zzrtyres, a set of new rear lights from luxembourg at great expense also fitted

That's going to look the nuts. What's the quality of the panels like? Going to need much trimming and fettling?

 . That's going to look mean as once done. Looking at the width of those arches you better measure the garage doors to make sure you can get the car out :)

Quality look pretty good unlike some fibreglass stuff iv seen in the past
As for fitment time will tell
I hope to have the body work done sometime this summer coming
Then later in the year will be engine upgrade time for some decent power

Cool project :)

Are you going to keep the CXNs and rebuild them with massive dish? :D

I am undecided on wheels at the moment, I may build up the cxn's but also change the inner barrels so they are not silly wide and have a wide outer dish
Original sports are a 9" rim
