Was hoping to take it to ford fair but dunno if will be ready as I'm doing it totally on my own.

More done on the escort. Finally brakes are bled up and radiator is mounted.



Also carb linkages are on and my mate made me up some little brackets



Fuel lines are run, filter is mounted as is the coil. So engine bay looks like this so far.



I've got the battery tray fitted in the boot



My mates also in the middle of making me a fuel pump bracket and a ht lead clamp that will bolt on the top of rocker cover



So getting very close to being ready to start.

It's amazing how quickly it all gets dirty under there and having a tidy engine bay will make it so much easier to keep it looking tip top

That is looking bloody awesome. If you haven't already get some wax on the painted areas of the bay as soon as you can. Build up some layers of protection before you get some miles under the belt as it will be much, much easier to clean up afterwards
