Steve certainly loves his Golf's and he's good mates with a few of the lads that race in the GTi series, so techie advice was never far away when and if needed it.

Thanks for the offer Les, but the opportunity for me to buy your car has passed :)

You greedy bastard :D

Very nice......I like black 3 door 16v's. Been looking at a red ABF tonight and trying to justify how the Hell I get back into one. Being employed may help :)

Trev you realy need to see a doctor mate!:smilielol5:
Showing absolutly no bias what-so-ever..........Black 3dr big bumper 16 valvers are soooo cool especialy with bbs rims!:D
Where is the rear window spoiler? And why have they put a pressed rear number plate on it but left a plastic front one on? Which reminds me where is h3y tk lurking these days?
Whats the plan for this one trev?

i did wonder about the rear spoiler and also must have different glass in it, my old pga mk2 also had no rear spoiler, i think it may have been fiddled about with like most of them but its cheap has 6 months tax and mot'd till next may
main reason its cheap is because the gearbox is making a bad noise but when i have several good 020 gearboxes in the unit its not a problem and they are a piece of piss to change so all good
plans are to run around in it, have a giggle in it on the b roads and who knows maybe modify a little :) might even chuck the 2.0l 16v and carbs from jaffa in it and replace that with something else, who knows though so much stuff goes through my tiny little brain
