it alive again! :)

little issue to begin with mainly the dissy gear not in the right place... so it was like a shotgun firing out the side exit
then it was missfiring at part throttle and so the dissy needed modification aka angle grinder so it can be turned so it fired correctly.. common issue so says rtoc

but hey it works and its drove to and from hunstanton tonight so 100miles done already at 10psi

slight knocking noise from something when reversing or pulling away which i'll look at later and then give the engine a once over again for leaks

also a slight issue of the vernier pully bolts rubbing on the front cover... thought i ground enough of them but sadly not.... so gunna leave it see if it quietens down or rubs through the cover
either way i dont wanna disturb the sealer if i have too as its not leaking for the first time in a long time!

:DWell done mate, fantastic news. Can't believe you've already done a 100miles in it. You must be so chuffed.

oh i love it so much i just can't not drive it plus going from a seat leon 1.9tdi Fr the boy has been missed just for the exhaust noise and turbo noise :)

only issue ive got atm is some sort of funky knocking noise when reversing or pulling away quickly but i'll check it at work up on the ramps during the week. im not sure what it is tho as everything is tight and didn't play with any drivetrain bits hmm

but hey its alive and the engine isn't spitting out hellmans finest mayo anymore so im happy :)

I love this little slice of 80's naughtiness.
Great to see it resurrected.
