Nice one Russ. Throw some weight out, go to 1b tyres, put some V power in it and get Dunc to add back the extra 20hp (or lots more than that if you want to add 20% meth) and there is a mid 12 in that car. We had a customer run a 12.9 with a wagon on a standard TMIC. It makes me smile to see the ESL equipped cars spank seriously expensive machinery at RWYB days (including Imprezas with ECUs worth more than the entire ESL tuned cars).

For those that are interested, Jap Performance is running an early WRX project car that ESL are involved with along the same lines as old yella. It has been made very light so will be interesting to see how it performs.

These cars are now available for under a grand. To keep the stock engine and box fairly reliable, 330/40bhp is probably the sensible limit. This can be achieved with a

That is true brother Logan. On 1As they seem generally ok but I spun a shell on 1Bs recently at Bedford. Probably doesn't apply to the same extent to drag racers.

"340bhp, 1200kg, 4wd, less than 2k.

Sorry if it all sounds like an ad, but is there a better bang for buck? Discuss."

Just wait till Stu sees this!
