It's funny how things change
I remember a few years ago I would have sneered at anything with a 3 at the start of a dyno figure. These days I'd settle for having three figures in a dyno number!! :D

Joking aside, the diminishing returns of brake horse power chasing scares the pooh out of me now. Far happier settling for a number that is high enough to provide a grin without violating my wallet everytime I create boost.

I am happy to have a bhp figure that is greater than my age

My age and BHP are getting closer all of the time :)

In a conversation with someone yesterday and he merrily told me that he only gets about 14-16mpg in his daily car!! He thought that was OK and could justify that as his car had 600hp. I asked him how often he used all of the power and his reply was to grin adding 'As often as humanly possible'

Was my pleasure Russ - glad to get you into a more manly power figure. As said the Esso fuel wasnt helping, there is probably another 20 ponies in there with good fuel from what i estimate but far better to have that extra in reserve for a safety margin. Chasing bhp figures is a very consuming exercise lol.

Glad 'yella' is running decent power again. At least you won't have a metro come past you now lol.
