car is going in for the MOT tomorrow so fingers crossed
all jobs should have been done
last few involved
replacing the shocks, one of the rear caliper and braided lines
there cant be anothing else to replace i wouldnt have thought...lol
Project SiR
REY! its on the road
the SiR is now on the road - i'm pretty chuffed
obviously because its an old honda i still have a few things to sort
1. little bit of bodywork
2. the dash clocks are an absolute disaster(may by putting in s2000 clocks)
3. suspension needs adjusting
4. slight issue with the gearbox(slight crunch at very high rpm changes)
was supposed to be getting it dyno'd on sat but it was too low to go on SCA rollers  was really up for getting in done as i need to check the fueling out
once that is done i then need to decide whether or not to do the big power track night - decisions decisions :?
here are a few pics of the finished

I have to say that the car looks superb 8)
The wheels complement the CRX and the black and red theme just looks mint. With regards to the track night, you could always take a steady run out in the
novices session, building up speed as your confidence in the car increases.
It would be a fitting way to properly christen it

cheers for the comments guys
after a bit of research it looks like its the synchro are warn which is causing the slight crunches
have been advised to change the oil in the box for LandRover MTF, it apparently can prolong the box by a fair amount and can cure slight crunches...gotta be worth a go in my opinion
