Opel Manta Project update 30/05/2009
Time for the next update.
We are really getting solid now thinking another couple of days work and the welding will be done :-D
Both outer sills, inner sills and arches are now in, jenolited and primed with anti rust paint. The footwells have been shaped and finished, with just the tunnel and floor to weld when we turn her over again.
The rear of the floorpan has been joined internally with just the welding underneath to be done. The front wheelarches have been rebuilt and finished.
The pics i think will say it all.

OK Suz has been up to her eyes in work lately and i thought i would keep the thread up to date with some of the progress.
It was the turn of the back end of the car this time.
New panels helped and some more fettling to be done
Not far off being 100% solid now :-D :-D
Get rid of the bent rear panel

Spoiler holes had shot through

Boot floor had gone too

In with new genuine panel

Both tops of rear quarters repaired

Boot floor repair

Suz now has some further work on the boot floor to do and the dreaded roof skin.
Chassis rails need tying together and that it Onto the bodywork.
Another good day or two though
