Having said that, preparations are underway for more work to be carried out when it emerges from its hibernation.
The engine is having a new set of rings fitted to try and cure the compression problem, a new fuel cell without the Carlos Fandango filler, a set of moreete lights with the outers ones removed to aid air flow and finally a new angled inlet manifold with possibly a air box or longer trumpets.
The only other thing Im waiting on is a group buy on the xr2 forum I use for a heated front screen which will hopefullt rectify the misting up/condensation problem :roll:
