Dont do it Darren,

I can see what you are saying about yours, but you ( and me  ) have spent lot of time and money on it and it is now the way you want it to look.
I personally think that if you go down the skyline root it is going to cost you a fortune.
I know that you would prefer a newage now, but if you are sure that you want to sell the RA, then as it has been said before, sell it first then you can look for the right car.
p/ex's can be asking for problems as sometimes thats why the seller cant get of there car, although I am looking to possibly p/ex the porsche and there is nothing wrong with it (well apart than the wife hates it  )

I cant say ive ever had any experience of scoobs, but I have had plenty with Skylines, GTRs and GTS-ts. Only the cost of owning and running puts me off, the grin factor is more than worth it tho.

They are two completely different types of car so there is no comparison.

My only advice would be, sell your car if you want to sell it, and buy whatever car you want afterwards.
If it wasnt airbourne, you wernt going hard enough

Darren, My advice would be to think of what your going to do with the whatever car you have, then that may focus you slighty.

Ie if you wanted to get more into trackwork or Sprints etc your Impreza with a few choice additions would be excellent, and the fact you know Impezas well means that if and when something breaks its easier to fix and in the case of the Skyline then a hellava lot cheaper!

If its just a nice road car for the weekends then, well as said above, sell yours first then go hunting.

I know what I'd do, fit yours with a FMIC, Apexi FC, baffled sump and a oil cooler and use its like its meant to be used :D :D

PS. Not forgotten that bracket yet, just haven't had a chance to get it off yet, got a few days off at Crimbo so will endevour to get it off for you then.

yeah I've decided against it, I like the r32 but could only see myself chucking a fortune to it before I was happy. Besides I have sooooo much Scooby stuff it would be weird to move away from the marque. I looked at mine again this morning and saw the McRae gathering sticker on its bonnet and thought - what the hell am I doing
Thanks guys, it nice to get different opinions and you have all helped clear my judgement :)

Well done, that warm fluffy feeling you've now got is because it's the right decision :D
There's loads of tuning potential left in yours, and as has been said, if you want more speed it does nt have to come at the expense of useability.
