yep your right.....its been frustrating watching and hearing of dunc et al's exploits....

fingers crossed ill be back on the road and tearing up the track in 4 weeks time

not long....but possible

after a long hiatus, the car is now back on the road with 2 brand new GT2871R turbos currently running at 1.7bar.

Its back to having full road trim, and is actually fairly civilised!!!

Went to the pod last weekend and banged in a 10.908 @ 128mph on the 2nd go so pretty chuffed with the performance so far

Jesus!! Everyone loves a ten second car and what a comeback. No idea on the output yet then? With that terminal speed I guess you're looking at around 600+?

bout time i gave this a little update....

all had been quiet on the western front.....i had deicided not to do anything with the car this year other than a few drag events but that soon went out the window. I am in the process of stripping the car right down to he bare minimum, with a target weight of 1300kg+driver.

To do this i have already stripped out all the nasty sound proofing from the floor of the car, all interior ripped out, and a few unnecessary bit of metal removed, rear bumper support, rear bulkheadcover (will need to be replaced with something lighter and better though). Also a new set of wheels and rubber which have saved 20kgs straight off from what it was before...

I also have on order some full carbon doors/bonnet and boot, i am expecting to save near (or more than) 80kgs from the doors alone, combined with using plexiglass for the rear screen adn side windows.

The car will also be mapped up for full power hopefully after figuring out why its been so lazy to make boost, so i should have the full 2 bar available on tap however i dont think much above 1.5 will be necessary on track as i only have to beat dunc

The car is away in the bodyshop at present having the body work tidied up and new skirts and spats fitted and will be back the day before the 30-130 day at marham.....cant wait
