today i managed to change the snapped brackets and it really has made a lot of difference fitting solids rather than bushed

the handling around roundabouts is so much more positive and there is NO flex

all i need to do now once i've used up my two month old petrol in the tank is change that crankshaft oil seal and job done

over the weekend i had the engine apart again due to a crankshaft oil seal failure, the oil was literally pissing out from the bellhousing. :x

today i booked a day off to put the engine back together, however the clutch won't engagem somethings up with the clutch plunger so i need to take that off this weekend and see whats what.

on a lighter note, my refurbished second hand doors turned up from a mini door specialist

Right as some of you know, i'm flogging the mini now

i've had a gut full now and i just want something that'll drive and doesn't require my constant attention :x

so i've got a guy coming round on Saturday between 11:00am - 3:00pm hopefuly he'll buy it

Well the bloke didn't show up, instead i got a phone call aying if we could arrange it for this weekend :roll:

however i do have a good bit of news

i've sold the mini

yep, a bloke from the mini forum pm'ed me saying that he'll definatley have it! he's havng a tow bar fitted to his BMW and renting a trailer to come and collect including all my spare parts.

but i because of this credit nonsence, and really wanting an MR2 i had to sell the mini with all the spares for

Today was a sad day for me, i have finally said goodbye to the mini.

we exchanged documents, and recieved the cash, loaded the car and spares up, and watch it go away.

So this is the end of the mini project thread, but i can now focus on the MR2
