Good pics of an impressive cage install. That looks to be full WRc spec, as even the Gtoup N cages haven't got as much bracing as that.

Ross, whats the car to be used for??

Well work has been continuing on the cage.

We found a small fracture in the shell caused by the torsional stresses of the rear diff. So some reinforcements have been fabricated by SHP Motorsport.

The other problem has been feeding a fuel level to the AIM Dash using the OEM senders. My plan had always been to cut a hole through the rear seat pan and run two VDO or SPA senders to two analogue gauges, one sender in each side of the saddle tank. This looked like being difficult so the new plan is to fabricate a 50l fuel cell around the area where I have cut the boot floor out. This will keep the weight low and should work well.

Once bracing is finished should look like this.

Then off to the paint shop :)

Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!!
