What a fantastic project!!

Does the AE86 have any soundproofing tar as your interior is very smooth and clean?

Your welding skills are top notch, very neat and clean.

Just out of interest you in Norfolk driving HGV's? I work for Scania trucks in Norwich.

Cheers Ian, yeah, it did have, chipped away the big stuff. Then a gallon of standard thinners and a LOT of rags later she came up nice and clean,

I drive for Tesco's at Peterborough, so if your stuck behind a Tesco wagon doing 40mph it could be me :-D

Latest..

Gearbox removed and plate replaced as suggested.

Gearbox mount made to be able to use Supra mount.

Front Calipers sand blasted, painted, new seals/rubbers etc.

EVO 4/5/6 coil packs fitted. Alloy plate to keep everything in situ, studs fitted to rocker covers, thread locked and lock nuts, nyloc nuts to hold plate in place.

Job sorted.

Most of wiring has gone, only the basics remain like water temp, starter motor wires, alternator. This will all be rerooted under the dash with minimal wiring under the bonnet.
