Unfortunatly the move to Canada all fell through at the last moment, so took a step to getting my career on track with a move to Leicester with an engineering recruitment company, then left those guys after 9 months as i canvassed myself into my current position with Performance Friction Brakes as a technical sales engineer.......so, good things come to those who wait if you like, im pleased the canada thing fell through in a way, as i am now working in my dream environment...the motorsport industry!
Thats right, it was a horror story me selling it, i wont go into too many details, but it was a rough time for sure.....a person REALLY wasted my time, a good 2 months to be precise![]()
That was one thing i was pleased about the car, i did quite a lot to it myself, such as fitting all the interior and some exterior, suspension, painting things and installing them etc, and i was really pleased with how the wheels came out, i remember posting on the MRC and folks thought i was crazy for even atempting to modify a set of blitz technospeeds :lol: ....fair play, it could have gone horribly wrong!

Yeah I try and do all the bits and pieces myself, its the only way to learn about the car. However when it comes down to the engine mapping etc then I steer clear and let the experts do it. But the rats nest and everything else I have done. See my thread in the projects for the suspension write up and my car is in there somewhere.
To be honest its fairly standard in comparison to how yours was and not got any serious plans to beef up the performance.
Its a running joke about me using mine on the track as you'll see and by looking at the pink banner in my profile on the left !!
So far I have done the warm up on a trackday....then the heater matrix broke, another one I had a 2nd turbo problem so had to pull out and the 3rd one was that our drive was done so I couldnt get the car out of the garage. Only coming to the evening on the 28th as I am having to work.
