Incredibly sad this but I used to fly radio controlled helicopters, loved them much more than the fixed wing versions.
To me the greatest helicopter is still the Apache....its such a menacing looking beast !!

She looked mint inside and out,a credit to you mate :notworthy:86AW11 wrote:Pics of the MKI interior. The seats are from a 93 MKII. Swapping them was fairily simple, I merely removed the sliders from the old seats and welded them on to the newer ones.
It must have broken your heart to sell,it would have if it was me!

1) 1988 Toyota MR2 (AW11)
2) The Supercharged engine(4AGZE) was not original to the chassis. The chassis was produced with a normally aspirated engine (4AGE) I purchased a factory SC car that had been wrecked in order to swap the drivetrain in this chassis. The factory SC cars were all t-top(leak like crazy in the rain) and a bit heavier than the tin top/sunroof cars. I ended up using the SC motor with the NA transmission. SC trans (E-51) have taller gearing to take advantage of the increased torque)
3) Never dyno'd the car,(factory rating 145 hp 140 torque) but compared to others with similar mods it should have produced 175 hp.
4) Common motor swaps into the NA/SC chassis include: 4AGZE(SC) which include: Early model with AFM and later types with DLI/MAP(JAP market only). 20v variants ----blacktop/silvertop. 3SGTE(2.0 turbo from Celica/MKII MR2. Toyota V6 variants. An d one brave soul who is installing a 4.7 Cadillac Northstar engine http://www.racingstrong.com http://www.v8mr2.com/
